Nyanturago, GHC's eleventh village, is in western Kisii County, and close to Nyamagesa Village. We began this CHEC in October 2022 and currently have 70 members involved in beekeeping and 8 fully trained apiary managers. The construction of the apiary was completed at the end of October and the Nyanturago apiary will eventually hold 40 hives.  This apiary has been slower to get off the ground than others, but we are confident and hopeful it will catch up!

The apiary sits in a very lush area, where the owner of the land has planted a wide variety of flowers and trees that the bees love!
