Our passion for bees and honey has led us to produce some of the finest honey in western Kenya. We believe in sustainable beekeeping practices and take great care of our hives to ensure the health and happiness of our bees. All our honey is pure, locally sourced and most importantly, delicious.
Our honey is second to none. This is a bold claim but one we stand by; one taste and we know you'll agree. Bees that feed on specific plants make honey with truly unique flavor profiles and our bees have a wide variety of flowers and trees on which to feast! Much like a wine, honey is a reflection of the area in which it was produced and can be a time capsule of sorts depending on what was growing when the pollen and nectar were gathered.
Each apiary produces its own unique flavor of honey. It’s important to note that the taste of honey can vary depending on the specific region, weather conditions, and the time of year. By purchasing honey from Greener Hills Honey, you are able to ask us directly about the various color and flavor profiles our honey is presenting.
We sell our honey in jars at the retail level and in liters at the wholesale level. For more information on general flavor profiles, visit Our Apiaries page.
